My Weekly Playlist Number One this week was “Fair Game” by Sia.

Here is my Top 10 most played songs from the last 7 days…

Number One this week was “Fair Game” by The Sia.

I’ve really started to enjoy Sia more and more over the past few weeks. I love the emotion that comes out through her voice. The way it kind of cracks when she takes it to the max just adds to the brilliance. Fair Game is one of the more up-tempo tunes from her latest album – 1000 Forms Of Fear.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour are a Danish pop band that I have been following for a few years now. Their sound may be quite familiar as their song, “Around The Bend”, was used in an iPod Touch advert. “Zombies” is taken from their latest album – Bring Us Together and is a brilliant pop song.

Whatever happened to Good Charlotte? They were massive for a while but they never seem to have come back with anything new. I love this line from “The Anthem”

“Shake it once, that’s fine, shake it twice, that’s okay, shake it three times, you’re playing with yourself again”

Wet are a band from New York that I heard for the first time this week. The song “I Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl” popped up randomly on my iPod and really brightened up my morning.

Twin Atlantic are a Scottish band who are really producing some great music just now and gaining the following they deserve. Taken from the album – Great Divide, which is never far from my iPod at the moment.

“From The Night” takes a little while to get going and for some reason there is a scary looking man/rabbit in the video but stick with it as Stars are ones to watch.
