Every UK Number One Song: Don’t Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes

51ed1IRghzL._SY300_“Don’t Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes” by Perry Como was Number One on 7th February 1953 and it remained at number one for 5 weeks.

A great song from a man with a brilliant voice and amazing values. The more I listen to these older songs the more I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and spend some time in those days.

Another 50’s classic number one for your enjoyment. I best know Perry Como as the guy who did the Quality Street advert, or ‘Magic Moments’ to give it it’s proper title. This is almost certainly it’s equal. And for the avoidance of doubt, the pink fudges and the toffee coins are the best ones. Enjoy. I’ll be back impersonating a 1950s Bruno Brooke this time next week.
