I’d Love To Tour The Galaxy With These Guys & Gals

My Weekly Playlist Number One this week was “Zombies” by The Asteroids Galaxy Tour.

Here is my Top 10 most played songs from the last 7 days…

Number One this week was “Zombies” by The Asteroids Galaxy Tour. I’m enjoying listening to these guys just now as it’s quite a different sound and hard to describe.

It’s also interesting to see how they re-create this “electronic pop” sound live.

The Ting Tings are my “artist of the month” for November so they have been popping up on my iPod which I am loving.

The song “Hands” doesn’t feature on any of their albums but take a listen and I guarantee you will be clapping your hands.

Tom Odell? What can I say about him that I haven’t already said?

The reason he has featured in my charts this week is due to the fact that he has appeared on the John Lewis Christmas advert.

Another Love” was actually my most played song in 2013.

Weezer have slipped off my radar over the past few years. I used to constantly listen to “The Blue Album” way back in 1996 and it’s reassuring to hear them again and they still have a similar sound.

Cleopatra” is a good Weezer introduction for anyone new.

Taylor Swift has been breaking all sorts of sales records this week as well as upsetting some Spotify people but that’s her choice. I’ve been quite impressed when one of her new tracks comes on random – especially “Clean“.

I’m not sure the actual meaning behind the song but it certainly sounds very personal. It’s also bloody hard to find a copy on YouTube so here’s a good cover version.
