I See The Moon

I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

I See the Moon” by The Stargazers was Number One on 13th March 1954 and remained on the top spot for 5 weeks.

It sounds like these guys and gals went out with their telescope one night taking along a few bottles of alcohol.

I’m sure they saw the moon but I’d guess it was very blurry as the all sound a little intoxicated on this song. Never mind “over the mountain” I hope they weren’t driving home as they most probably were also “over the limit”.

Oh well, it sound like they are having a rare old-time!
