I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

Little Things Mean a Lot” by Kitty Kallen was Number One on 11th September 1954 and stayed there for one week only. Ignoring the fact that she likes like an absolutely crazy person on the record cover this is a really nice song and is one of those songs that when you hear you do wish you were alive when it was playing on the radio.
