I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

Hernando’s Hideaway” by the Johnston Brothers was Number One on 12th November 1955 and stayed there for two weeks.

I’m sure this is going to continue happening as I review songs in this series but I didn’t think I would have recognised this song before I played it but I do. I do and I don’t know where from and it’s driving me mad!

It’s a song that I would imagine a lot of people would use to dance the Tango to as it almost had my grab my cat and dance cheek to cheek across the kitchen!
