I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

Magic Moments” by Perry Como was Number One on 1st March 1958 and stayed there for eight weeks.

A wonderfully magic song by an amazing singer but why do I always hear the lyrics as being instead of  the lyrics…

“I’ll never forget the moment we kissed

The night of the hayride”

I always hear…

“It wasn’t the grass that tickled my ass

It was my finger”
