I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Here Comes Summer” by Jerry Keller was Number One on 10th October 1959 and stayed there for one week.

Even though it’s freezing outside right now I suddenly feel like I want to put on a pair of shorts and t shirt and eat an ice cream. This was a million selling record for Jerry but sadly he was to be a “one hit wonder”.
