I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“You’re Driving Me Crazy” by The Temperance Seven was Number One on 27th May 1961 and stayed there for one week.

You might think that you are back in the 1920’s but you aren’t. However, if you feel like kicking up your heels and having a sneaky little swig of liquor then go right ahead!
