As you may know I am an iTunes-a-holic and to make sure I remember to listen to older songs, once a month I will add all songs by a particular artist to my iPod so that for that month I will have their songs pop up when I play it on shuffle mode.

For February I have everyone’s favourite export from Barbados – Rihanna.

She is a one woman hit machine but she has been fairly quiet of late until a few weeks ago when, together with Paul McCartney and Kanye West, released the track “FourFiveSeconds“. Performing it live at the 2015 Grammy Awards will be epic!

If this is a taster of her new album then it will certainly be worth the wait.

I first listened to Rihanna when she released “Good Girl Gone Bad” and who could forget the incredible “Umbrella”.

This was closely followed by “Rated R” – this took a slightly different direction in sound and my favourite track was “Russian Roulette”.

I can’t believe it was 2010 that “Loud” was released. There are just far too many great tracks on that to list them all but choosing an upbeat one and a slow tempo one here’s “Only Girl (In The World)” and “California King Bed”.

I’m not too familiar with “Talk That Talk” yet but I think everyone knows and loves “We Found Love”.

The last album Rihanna gave to us was “Unapologetic” so let’s go out on a slight low with “Stay” and then come right back up with “Diamonds”.

I can’t wait to see the performance at The Grammy Awards and I’m so excited for the new album. Thanks Rihanna!

OMG – Pft me…
