I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Wayward Wind” by Frank Ifield was Number One on 23rd February 1963 and stayed there for three weeks.

It’s good, it’s good and he’s not yodelled yet. Please don’t yodel, please don’t yodel!

Hmmm, there were a couple of times he sadly did almost break into the dreaded yodel…
