I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Summer Holiday” by Cliff Richard & The Shadows was Number One on 16th March 1963 and stayed there for two weeks.

An absolute TRUE classic song. EVERYONE sings this when they are about to go on holiday and I challenge anyone to tell me different. Well, in the UK at least – I’m not sure how far this travels?
