I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Bad To Me” by Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas was Number One on 24th August 1963 and stayed there for three weeks.

What a handsome chap Billy J Kramer was. He can carry a tune too which is a bonus when you are a pop star. Although these days it seems to be looks over talent…
