I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

Welcome to 1964!

“Glad All Over” by The Dave Clark 5 was Number One on 18th January 1964 and stayed there for two weeks.

Another band that was part of the British Invasion of the 1960s. What an awesome song to start the new year. It’s so happy that you just can’t help not smiling along when you hear this tune. So – it pretty much does it’s job of making you feel “glad all over”.

OMG – Pft me…
