I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Needles & Pins” by The Searchers was Number One on 1st February 1964 and stayed there for three weeks.

Yet another band to come out of Liverpool. A very similar sound to the others but this song has much more of a laid back sound.
