I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Can’t Buy Me Love” by The Beatles was Number One on 4th April 1964 and stayed there for three weeks.

They might not have been able to buy love but I’m quite sure that they could buy pretty much anything else that they wanted!
