I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“It’s All Over Now” by The Rolling Stones was Number One on 18th July 1964 and stayed there for one week.

The first number one for Mick and the boys. Originally a song written by Bobby Womack. It’s hard to believe that this amazing band are still going!
