I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“A Hard Day’s Night” by The Beatles was Number One on 25th July 1964 and stayed there for three weeks.

Taken from the movie of the same name, The Beatles didn’t just take over the charts they were now taking over the movies!
