Wet Premieres Lovely New Song “Deadwater”

Brooklyn-based trio Wet made waves with its 2013 self-titled debut EP. The four-track collection was highlighted by the dashing synthpop cuts “Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl” and “You’re The Best”, both of which have racked up millions of plays despite being released via boutique label Neon Gold. (I’ll be honest though: The first thing that drew me to the group was its excellent, now-defunct Twitter handle @kanyewet.)

Since then, Wet’s toured with the likes of CHVRCHES and London Grammar, and inked a deal with Columbia Records. Now, the three-piece is readying its full-length major label debut, Don’t You, which is due to arrive sometime this fall. The self-produced effort spans 11 tracks, and was written last year in Western Massachusetts, where each of the band’s members is originally from.
