I want to review every UK number one album since charts began in 1956. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these albums.
The soundtrack to the film “Carousel” by was the UK Number One album on 11th August 1956.
Although I’ve never actually watched this movie after listening to some of the songs it’s kind of made me want to go and watch it right now.
Some of the songs I and possibly everyone might already know. Take a listen to “June Is Bustin’ Out All Over” and try and tell me that it doesn’t cheer you up.
Even the butchest of butch men will know this song – “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, get your hankies at the ready!
Enjoy it and I’m off to find out how the dead dude in the movie actually died.
