STOP! LOOK! PLAYLIST! 31st July 2016

What was the most played song at Talk About Pop Music this week?

The most played song this week was “Cheap Thrills” by Sia.

Sia makes a welcome return to the Top Ten this week and it is also the first week she has reached the number one spot in the Billboard Top 100. Personally, I prefer the version without Sean Paul.

There’s a new artist in here called Charlyn and to find out more about our read the interview I recently did with her.

I still can’t get enough of Calum Scott’s version of “Dancing On My Own” and it seems everyone else can’t either as the song has been steadily climbing the UK charts over the past month or so. Here’s hoping it eventually takes the top spot!

Here is the Talk About Pop Music Top 10 most played songs from the last 7 days.

I’d like to say a big thank you to Last.fm – without their service over the past ten years none of these stats would be possible each week!

What about you? What have your most listened to songs been this week – let me know in the comments below or send a tweet to @PopAndTalk as I love discovering new songs.
