Check out MAJOR’s soulful pop sound on latest album I am MAJOR.

At Talk About Pop Music, we like to spend our time listening to new music & select artists we thinking our followers will like. So I feel it is only right, to introduce you to one of my 2016 most exciting discoveries – MAJOR.

Having worked behind the scenes in the music industry. It was only a matter of time before singer MAJOR stepped out of the shadows and into the limelight.

Since teaming up with producer Harmony Samuels. MAJOR. begun working on his “I am MAJOR.” album which was released in July 2016.

A mix of Soul, funk pop & hip-hop. Each track, showcasing MAJOR.’s powerful soulful vocals.

The retro-sounding “Hit The Road”, “My Oh My” & “My Future” allow MAJOR. to take the listener back to a time when Ray Charles (Listen to the re-working of “Hit The Road Jack” in “Hit The Road”) & Sam Cooke dominated the soul scene.

As all music fans know, an album needs a classic ballad so “This is Why I Love” is the ultimate ode to track. He also channels similar vibes on the track “Serendipity”.

Each track, is performed with soulful emotion leaving the listener wondering – who is the lucky person in MAJOR.’s life?

Closing tracks “Keep On” & “#ChangeRightNow” deliver a powerful message reflecting many of the issues going on in the United States right now.

Owing to his time “behind the scenes” MAJOR. has received praise from fellow musicians & fans alike. The general consensus is that it is time for  MAJOR. to step out of the shadows and into the limelight.
