REVIEW: Harry Styles - 'Sign Of The Times'

Sign Of The Times

The solo single from Harry Styles is finally here!

Following in the footsteps of his fellow 1D bandmates: Zayn, Niall and Louis: Harry styles has released his first solo single ‘Sign of the Times’.

The track shows a more fragile and mature side to Styles (a world away from the pure pop sound of One Direction). Styles also uses the track to showcase a varied vocal range & newly acquired piano skills. He does a great job of mixing classic pop ballad & indie sounds.

The lyrics maybe deeply personal to Styles: yet they will resonate with anyone who’s been through a troubled relationship or challenging time in their lives.

It’s not just fans who have heaped praise on the new track. Critics have described it as a “mix between David Bowie and Lana Del Rey“.

Whether Styles is “one of 2017’s brightest star’s remains to be seen” however there is no doubt the track marks a new chapter in the former boy-band star’s life.

Watch him perform it live for the first time on SNL and decide for yourself if he pulled it off…
