It’s December so it’s socially acceptable to start playing Christmas music. This special Christmas album by one of my favourite band basically plays on a loop in my house over the holidays.

Calum Scott has announced a new album coming soon and his version of ‘Dancing On My Own’ is still regularly played by me. I also still love Robyn’s original version too.
In fact, I tweeted both Calum and Robyn to suggest a collaboration in 2018 and Calum was sure up for it…
I’ve been reviewing some of my old yearly playlists and was reminded of some great songs this week including songs from Regina Spektor and Amy MacDonald.
One of the most succesful playlists I have created is Pride! Sometime Boys Like Boys and I am constantly listening to the song ‘First Time I Kissed A Boy’ by Kadie Elder.
Eurovision tickets were on sale this week and sold out very quickly but fortunately we managed to get some. The song ‘If I Were Sorry’ by Frans will always remind me of the first Eurovision final I went to.
Of course there is a Steps song here – I am still buzzing from watching them live a few weeks ago – stay tuned for the review post coming soon. I have already decided that I will be going to see them again in June.
Finally, a real blast from the past from the band Astronaut!

DEAMN is our featured artist on our Discover Weekly playlist this week and his latest release is advertised on our Twitter Cover.
If you’re a music artist or music promoter and have a song to be featured in either of these locations get in touch by Twitter @PopAndTalk or email email@example.com
I’d like to say a big thank you to Last.fm – without their service over the past ten years none of these stats would be possible each week!
