The ‘Perfect Duet’ by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce is the favourite and I’m fine with it if it gets it as it’s a really nice song and does have ‘Christmassy’ feels.

All the good old classics are starting to fill the charts up again – will this be the year that Mariah’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ gets to the top? Well, not if she keeps singing it like this…

I’ve not been following the X Factor this year but I doubt that the winner’s song will be the festive favourite.

So, who do I hope it will be? Of course it HAS to be ‘Last Christmas’ by WHAM! I think this would be the ultimate tribute to George Michael. Let’s hope it happens!

If you are now feeling all nostalgic for Christmas Number One songs of the past then let me help with that. Here you can find reviews of all the previous songs by decade. Enjoy!

It wouldn’t be Christmas if we didn’t give you a special gift so there is also a Spotify playlist with ALL the songs!
