Most Played Song
The most played song by Steve at Talk About Pop Music this week was ’71 Charger’ by Loreen.
I think it’s a well known fact that I LOVE Loreen’s Eurovision song ‘Euphoria‘ but I have to admit that this is the first “other” song that I’ve really listened to enjoyed. I can see myself listening to this a lot in 2018. It has a hint of Sia which will always be a big hit with me.
Watch the video for the track and don’t forget to give the whole album a listen to.

The Best Of The Rest
There are quite a few songs in here because it was that time of year again for me to put together my yearly playlist. It was a great reminder of some of my most loved songs of 2017.
However, onwards and upwards and 2018 started with an awesome song for me by a band that I hadn’t heard of before. ‘Everybody Wants To Be Famous‘ by Superorganism has a brilliant vibe to it and I am really excited for what else they are going to do this year.
Over the holiday period I as subjected to at least 5 seasons of the TV show Shameless. I did dip in and out of it but my ‘takeaway’ from it was the band behind the theme tune The High Strung. The theme songs is called ‘The Luck You Got‘ which is awesome but it made me want to hear more so other songs from this band such as ‘The Lifestyle That Got Away‘ are just as good. Defo worth checking out!
I recently watched the movie ‘Fun Mom Dinner‘ which was hilarious and of course it also had a great soundtrack with one of the songs being ‘All Work‘ by Fever High. This is also made me start doing something new on our Spotify account – playlists from TV Shows & Movies – you can have a look around for them here.

I’d like to say a big thank you to Last.fm – without their service over the past ten years none of these stats would be possible each week!
