If you said 11 – well done. According to some sources you would be correct! According to others pop music is simply what’s ‘popular’. That’s fine but I need to categorize things ok!

‘Here To Stay’ – Flawes
London via Yorkshire band FLAWES reveal their new single ‘This Could Be Real’ via Red Bull Records.
The band have been locked away in the studio preparing their debut album, poised for a 2018 release, with ‘This Could Be Real’ offering an upbeat nod to what we can expect.
This latest installment from FLAWES, along with singles ‘Forever’ and ‘Blank Dice’ is the first since 2016’s ‘CTRL’ and ‘UNSPKN’ EPs created a feverish buzz around the trio. ‘This Could Be Real’ – produced by young, London producer Lostboy(Ella Eyre / Anne-Marie) encapsulates the band’s flair for alternative pop which has been attracting a loyal fan base these past 12 months.
‘Game 4 2’ – Wardo
With a wide array of influences, Wardõ offers a very fresh blend of sounds. A good supply of pop, electronic and dance elements can be found in his songs. His breathy vocal style features some unique tones and characteristics that can be very mellow and dark, but also punchy with falsetto influenced styles from the 70’s and 80’s.
‘On Your Own’ – WYO
Los Angeles’ WYO makes cinematic music inspired by frontman Andy Sorge’s home state of Wyoming. Taking inspiration from the imposing landscapes and majestic mountains he grew up around, singer-songwriter Andy Sorge utilizes an organic instrument palette to create the soundscape that is WYO. After attending film school in New York, Andy met multi-instrumentalist, Scott McKay Gibson, and the two retreated to Wyoming and began delving into Andy’s original songs that would soon become their debut album, Untamed.
‘Issues’ – Kovic
Mark Kovic (Kovic) is an English singer-songwriter and producer, born and raised in Brentwood, Essex, to a Serbian father and English mother. Known for his baritone vocal and big chorus’, his first momentum-accelerating single titled “Drown” was released in 2017, produced by Jonny Coffer (Beyoncé, Emile Sandé) & Mark Crew (Bastille, Rag N Bone man), and co-written with goliath songwriter Jamie Scott (Jesse Ware, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Justin Bieber).
‘Blue Wave Waiting’ – Superocean
Superocean have found a cozy niche in Portland’s dream-pop scene, blending pop influence, jangly riffs, and a touch of 60’s psychedelia.
Superocean understand the ins and outs of alternative rock and have shown their capacity to make it easy to love and enjoy, without sounding passé.
