So, what’s new on the New Music Express recently?

‘Isn’t It Love’ – Linebug

With airy vocals, hand-drawn animations and indie-pop melodies, the new Danish duo LINEBUG builds their distinct audio/visual universe. The duo consists of the singer and songwriter Line Bøgh and the digital artist Christian Gundtoft.

‘Move Steady’ – Simon Alexander

Swedish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Simon Alexander emerged in 2017 with the self-released debut EP Won’t Be Found, breathing new air into the modern folk scene. By continuously releasing several self-produced acoustic tracks he quickly gained recognition for his profound lyrics and heartfelt vocal melodies, getting comparisons to Matt Corby and Dylan LeBlanc.

‘Slower’ – Pet Envy

Pop-rock band based in Nashville, TN well known for their invigorating live shows. Collaborations with Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews, Béla Fleck), Roy Agee (Prince, Glenn Miller Orchestra), Josh Reynolds (Little Big Town, Joe Nichols) & Grammy Award Winning Producer, Femke Weidema

‘Forever’ – DDE’s

The DDE’s are one of the most exciting bands to come out of Manchester in recent years. Staying true to the city’s famous indie roots, the talented three-piece construct toe-tapping tracks formulated around face-melting riffs and haunting melodies. They have the rare ability to give audiences the feeling they are witnessing a band on the verge of discovery, yet at the same time, feeling as if they have known them for years-like a shot of adrenaline whilst wearing your favourite old jumper. See them at many of the big festivals this Summer and throughout 2019.

‘Arriianne’ – Jeremy Rice

Jeremy Rice is a musician, composer, producer and obsessive creator. Possessing a vast and diverse repertoire of material, Jeremy delivers his songs with catchy and melodic classic-rock stylings that are unique, yet universally accessible.

Originally from St. John’s Newfoundland, Jeremy took an early interest in visual arts, performance arts and music. This spawned a desire to learn about media production. After four years of media studies at Ryerson University, he decided to grab his guitar and pursue a career in the soulless, unforgiving abyss that is the music industry.

‘How We Gonna Get There’ – Air Land Sea

Air Land Sea is the new project from acclaimed Australian musicians and friends Nadav Kahn, Lior and Tony Buchen.

With a nod to Laurel Canyon, a healthy dose of Brian Wilson and an appetite for classic psychadelia, the three accomplished musicians came together for a cold winter’s writing trip in Daylesford, realising quickly that something special was emerging as the singular blend of their three voices created a new dimension quite distinct from their solo work and collaborations with other artists.

‘Healing Dream Feelings’ – The Sane Abandonded

The Sane Abandoned is an alternative rock band featuring Charlie Laughlin and Gary Zucker. Our music consists of a creative combination of rock grooves, pop ideas, and powerful guitar lines. Our music mainly focuses on working through emotions and events we have gone through.

Wait there’s more…

‘Always Always’ – Tablefox

‘Strangers In A Nightclub’ – Loose Buttons
