EKKOES release “The Black Channel”

British electro-pop band EKKOES have released the fifth track, “The Black Channel”, from their forthcoming album “Stasiland”, fittingly on black Friday! “The Black Channel” studies the notorious figure of propagandist Karl-Eduard von Schnitzler, host of East German TV program The Black Channel.

“Stasiland” the new album has been conceived with lyrics/spoken excerpts taken from the book of the same name by Anna Funder. Each week EKKOES are releasing a new track prior to the album on 20th December, each with an individual story attached to it. You can read the story about “The Black Channel” by clicking here.
