So, what’s new on ‘Turn Me Up Before You Go-Go’ recently?

‘The Afterglow’ – The Sane Abandoned

The Sane Abandoned is an alternative rock band featuring Charlie Laughlin and Gary Zucker. Our music consists of a creative combination of rock grooves, pop ideas, and powerful guitar lines. Our music mainly focuses on working through emotions and events we have gone through.

‘Through The 85’ – Nightcars

Nightcars is a band from Madrid, Spain, created in 2016 by three old friends from Venezuela, whose interaction with music goes back almost a decade. After a period of tentative home recordings, they released their first EP in February, accompanied by the subtitle “No Country for Young Men”. The promotional singles “Neon Girl”, “I Was in a Dark Frame of Mind” (One Clouded by Worry) and “The Way It Is” come out, together with an experimental video clip that helps define the visual aesthetics of project, almost as important as the musical side. The five songs were produced independently and belongs to a genre that they define as “City Sound”, inspired by rock and electronic music of the eighties and nineties. Nightcars is integrated by Nico, Cial and Mebs

‘Joni, I’m Mad Too’ – The Silver Bars

Initially starting as a duo in a small town in the North-West of England, founders of The Silver Bars Dylan Grafton (vocalist and rhythm guitar player) and Phil McArthur (on the keyboard) set out gigging on their local circuit, attracting large crowds to open mic nights and gaining a consistently strong following with a wide mix of quirky and unorthodox cover songs; which would later spawn the original sound of the band letting it flourish into what is a breath of fresh air to the music world. Having received suggestions to strip the lineup back and create a full band, more members were brought into the group with Kieran Hackett (lead guitar), Elliott Jones (bass guitar) and Matthew Grosvenor (drums) to finish the lineup.

Wait there’s more…
