Let’s get this playlist started with these awesome new songs…

‘Make It Last’ – Digrasso

Digrasso is a 24 year old music producer from Stockholm. He has had a musical interest since his childhood. At the age of 7 he started playing his first instrument the Cello. However he quickly switched instrument to electric guitar. Something that is clear in his writing even today.

‘’Make it Last’’ was produced and written by Digrasso himself. The inspiration for the song came from an unlikely source. The 1987 heavy metal song ‘’wild side’’ by Mötley Crue. Something Digrasso says is hinted to by the opening verse.

‘’Make It Last’’ is big powerful modern sounding pop track. With a strong vocal line and catchy melodies. ‘’I’m so glad for the way this track came out, it always brings a smile to my face. And I think it will for you too.’’

‘Effexor’ – Party Nails

Party Nails’ music lies between pop, alternative and electronic (and with nod to punk). She is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist originally from Chatham, New York. Following numerous single releases, a fan-adored EP and four successful national tours, Party Nails released her debut album Past Lives and Paychecks on October 19, 2018 to high praise from media publications including Billboard, Ones To Watch, Popdust and Earmilk, as well as indie radio play and ecstatic fans. She supported Eve 6 on their 20th anniversary tour and Bad Bad Hats before that, playing her album to new and old fans alike.

Conceptually, the album exposes her own experiences as well as themes of money, power, love, heartbreak, and loss. “I focused on bittersweet songwriting set to dance vibes,” she explained of her creative process. “As a singer, I really wanted to push myself to the edge of my sanity with each vocal take. Ultimately my goal was to create an album of memorable songs that land across the spectrum of alternative pop.”

‘I Want To Run ‘ – Iain Wilson

Iain Wilson is a Glasgow-based singer, infusing current pop styles with 70s/80s synth. Iain’s musical style draws inspiration from bands such as Chvrches and artists like Charli XCX, with his music branching further into a genre that has both unique qualities and yet is familiar to the listener. The first two singles have catchy pop melodies, whilst the addition of synth provides a distinct edge to the new track.

His first single release “Reasons Why” featured through BBC Music Introducing early this year and progressed to him recording a live session for BBC nan Gàidheal in April 2020. The follow up to this single, “I Want To Run”, is set for release on the 15th of May. Both tracks are accompanied by music videos featuring Iain.

Currently signed under Wee Studio records, based in Stornoway, Iain has been working on a 10-track debut album. This is due to be released towards the end of the year.

‘Undeniable Love’ – R3DLTTR

R3DLTTR is an electronic pop duo from Philadelphia. Two Cousins who spar with beats and synths against words and melodies. Programmed precision with reckless abandonment. Neon lights and never ending nights.

‘Outta my league’ – Pete Surreal
