Jordan Freewood

The German newcomer Jordan Freewood grew up in a very musical family under the name Jordan Freiwald. The mother, a successful singer, and the father, a well-known guitar player, passed their talent on to Jordan. Under the strong influence of his mother, Jordan came into contact with soul, funk, blues and pop music at a very early age and shaped his childhood and musical development, in particular through bands such as The Gap Band, Earth Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, Kool and the Gang, Prince, Michael Jackson or the SOS Band.

The musical environment influenced Jordan Freewood so much that a career as a singer was inevitable. Totally motivated, Jordan uses every opportunity to present his singing to the audience, whether at family celebrations or parties. Jordan’s dream has always been to write, produce, and release his own music, to live rock n roll. Jordan loves the songs of artists like Craig David, Michael Jackson and Usher and uses every moment to perfect his voice. In order to create synergies, it was time to find a producer who would realize his dream and write, produce and market his music professionally.

FLORE, Novaa

FLØRE writes songs “to give this weird existence a meaning”. Feeling like an alien for most of her life, she spent her childhood playing guitar, singing and dreaming of the universe. She’s inspired by the darkness of growing up, the beautifully broken and the feeling of what it must be like when life begins. Or what it must be like when it ends. Or what it is at all. She calls herself a moonlover, who expresses the loneliness in her songs, revealing her touching voice telling stories about her own fragileness, devotion for unusual human beings and a broken love.

Past Mayfair

“My music collides expansive instrumentals with pretty vocal melodies. I’m studying music in Sydney, Australia and have worked with artists such as Jerome Blazé and Kaz Benson and performed as a saxophonist with Guy Sebastian on The Voice and with The Regime at Newtown Festival main stage.”

Andrew Paley

In a recent interview, Andrew Paley summed up his songwriting as the pursuit of “open spaces, sharp edges and bright colors.” He was referring at the time to his work with the critically acclaimed post-punk band The Static Age, but given his first solo effort, Sirens (out on Paper + Plastick in the US and Make My Day Records in Europe), it’s clear that he’s carried that spirit with him into the next chapter. And every indication — from the synth-heavy “Let Me Go” to the piano-driven “Take Cover” — is that it promises to be a genre-bending, expansive one.

Now back in Chicago after extensive touring across Europe, Japan and elsewhere with tour mates like Bob Nanna (Braid and Hey Mercedes), Garrett Klahn (Texas Is The Reason), Ducking Punches, and The Lion And The Wolf, Paley has been working on his second solo effort, “Scattered Light,” (out October 16, 2020) and also on the occasional collaboration with other artists like StayLoose (with whom Paley co-wrote and provided vocals on the single “Let Go”).

'Modern Times'
Bonomi

Born and raised in Canterbury, U.K, Bonomi started his musical career at the age of 13, as a founding member and drummer of U.K band Electric River. After spending his teenage years and early twenties playing everywhere from the humble Kentish pubs and clubs of the local music scene, to some of the UK’s most reputable live music venues, he stepped away from playing publicly in 2015 when the band disbanded.

After some time away travelling, he returned to build a place he could write, explore and develop, not just as a drummer, but as a songwriter, producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist.

Since honing his craft, he has sought out the help of Brett Shaw and Rob Wilks (FOALS, Florence and the Machine, Lianne La Havas) at 123 Studios in Peckham, to deliver his first body of music as a solo artist.

The result is an eclectic mix of both stripped down and emotive songs – tinged in reflective and honest lyrics – as well as nods to his roots in big choruses and heavy drums.
