UK singer and songwriter Don Malin releases his brand new single, “Drama”, the first to come from his upcoming debut EP, coming at the end of this month.
After a busy debut in 2020 releasing five tracks, the Birmingham indie-pop artist Dom serves up a blissful, acoustic track to underline the tensions in a relationship.
Dom says of the song: “Originally inspired by the marital affair of Midge and her husband Joel from the Marvelous Mrs Maisel, ‘Drama’ reveals feelings of regret when moving on too quickly from a past relationship. ‘Drama’ is a tongue-in-cheek song, with a nod to the Friends tagline, “We were on a break!”.
Having entered the music scene just over a year ago, Dom has already enjoyed great exposure with his song “Eye Of The Storm”. “Drama” is the first of a collection of new songs taking a wry look at human relationships and emotions. The EP, “Something Never Said”, will see Dom’s own observations compete with those of more noted arists like Damien Rice and Ben Howard. And who says there can’t be too many good musicians around?!
