I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones was Number One on 13th March 1965 and stayed there for one week.

It’s hard to believe this was only at the top of the charts for a week alone. It’s an anthem of a track from Sir Tom Jones for goodness sake. He’s Welsh, he’s The Voice and he’s just damn awesome!
