I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“These Boots Are Made For Walkin’!” by Nancy Sinatra was Number One on 19th February 1966 and stayed there for four weeks.

Daughter of Frank and singer of this absolutely classic song. Instantly recognisable from the opening second and a true representation of this particular era.
