I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me” by Dusty Springfield was Number One on 30th April 1966 and stayed there for one week.

I can’t believe this amazing song was only at the top of the charts for one week. Dusty was an icon and this song is an absolute through and through classic!

Sadly, Dusty died in 1999 at the age of 59 but she will never be forgotten!

Tune in to me on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube…
