I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

Reach Out I’ll Be There” by The Four Tops was Number One on 29th October 1966 and stayed there for four weeks.

As much as I’ve loved all the British bands up until now it’s a nice change to see an American group and these guys are just class. A powerful performance delivered in such a way that even I would put all my trust in them!
