Eurovision Song Contest 2015: Spain – “Amanecer” By Edurne

Eurovision 2015 is almost upon us and now that all the countries have chosen their singers and song let’s give them the once-over. The Spanish song is called “Amanecer” and is performed by Edurne.

Edurne is a singer, actress, musical artist, TV presenter, impersonator. Wow – that’s impressive but can she sing as good as Ruth Lorenzo, that’s the big question? Before I even listen to it I am impressed that she’s chosen to sing in Spanish, I always love the songs in the native language.

Okay, so a Britney Spears lookalike sings about “Safeway” while a really hot guy jumps about in a field showing off his chest – well that’s Eurovision for you. Don’t get me wrong, this girl can sing and I actually see this song doing really well – possibly top ten! I hope she has the hot man on stage…

Performer: Edurne
Song title: Amanecer
Song writer(s): Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson, Peter Boström & Thomas G:son
Song composer(s): Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson, Peter Boström & Thomas G:son

He left without knowing
That I did love him
He left without believing me

I lost my mind
I bled so much love
Now a vast emptiness lives in me
It all brings me back to you
EEEieEEO
EEEieEEO
My heart
Whispered to me
Don’t you come back without him
On my way to yesterday
Wherever he may be
I challenge oblivion

He left without knowing
I never surrender
EEEieEEO
EEEieEEO
My heart
Whispered to me
Don’t you come back without him

EEEieEEO
EEEieEEO

It whispered
Breathe my soul back into me
Bring me back to
The Break of Day

You’re coming back with me ( Mid-8 )

Good luck Edurne!
