I know what the Number One song in the UK was when I was born but was top of the pop charts on other milestone birthdays?

When I was thirty the Number One song in the UK charts was “Mercy” by Duffy. This girl has an amazing voice and was often compared to Dusty Springfield. It’s a big powerful song that also just makes you want to get up and dance

It’s looking like then next big milestone for me will be my 40th birthday and that’s too scary to even contemplate so I shall console myself by thinking about the playlist I am going to produce on Spotify that will have every single one of my birthday number ones – The Soundtrack Of My Life!

Ah, that’s made me feel better about being so close to 40!

Check out your Number Ones at EveryHit or even better I’ve just discovered this website called bobborst.com and it’s pretty damn awesome – check it out to see what it does, you’ll be amazed!
