Every UK Number One Song: All Kinds Of Everything

1970_music_eurovision_dana_coverI want to review every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process.

Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“All Kinds Of Everything” by Dana was number one on 18th April 1970 and stayed there for 2 weeks.

This song made the lovely Irish Dana an international superstar. It even won the Eurovision Song Contest in that year. Isn’t it just a really sweet song?

  1. Man, this brings back the memories. This is the first time I have seen the video. Such quaint clothes and I do love how the announcer describes her dress. This was really popular here in New Zealand at the time and I had to sing it at school.
