Eurovision 2017 – Serbia
The Serbia song is called “In Too Deep” and performed by Tijana Bogićević.
ARTIST
Tijana Bogićević is a Serbian pop singer, best known for her song Tražim (Searching) that she recorded in 2010 and has since become a big hit. From an early age Tijana displayed a remarkable aptitude for music and it is no wonder she has chosen it as her career path. She says that meeting musician Vlado Georgiev in 2001 was the turning point in her professional career because that year she joined his band as a backing vocalist. While cooperating with Georgiev, she sang as a backup singer for his studio recordings and performed in concerts throughout the region. At the same time she was working with her own band which has become one of the most popular on the club scene in Serbia.
Although she is recognised as an excellent backing vocalist, Tijana points out that she always wanted to pursue a career as a solo artist. Since her breakthrough with Tražim in 2010, Tijana has participated in several TV talent shows. Other songs that have received a lot of attention are Tijana’s duets with the band Flamingosi and Aleksa Jelić, as well as the touching ballad Čudo (Miracle), composed and produced by Dušan Alagić. She has just finished recording an album with the same producer and it is expected to be released in autumn.
In 2011 Tijana participated in the Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist representing Serbia with Nina and the song Čaroban (Magical), an experience that she considers invaluable. It was her great wish to participate in the contest again and in May her wish will come true when she takes to the stage in Kyiv.

I usually judge a song based on whether I can ‘see’ it being played as the winning song at the end of the show…I can almost see this being the one. Absolutely qualify and will do REALLY well!
