Chart Facts

I have followed the UK charts ever since I can remember.

I remember listening to it on an old fashioned stereo when I was a kid before eventually moving on technologically and listening to, and recording it from a boom box.

These days I still follow it and produce a weekly update and Spotify playlist for it. Wow, look how far we’ve come!

Of course there are lots of chart facts and figures and I love that kind of thing too. One such fact I came across recently really surprised me.

Did you know…

“Mr Brightside” by The Killers is currently the song that’s been in the U.K. Top 100 for the longest continuous period – an amazing 191 weeks.

Not bad for a song that was released in 2004, right?

Well deserved too as it’s an awesome song – LISTEN!
