‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’

“Rescued after 15 years in a cult, Kimmy Schmidt decides to reclaim her life by venturing to New York, where she experiences everyday life with wide-eyed enthusiasm. On a whim, she rents a room from Titus, a gay wannabe Broadway actor, who makes ends meet as a street performer in Times Square. The unlikely pair find they’re well-suited to help each other out, with Titus reintroducing Kimmy to modern life, and her providing him with the inspiration that you should never give up“

Crazy, camp and cheesy is probably the best way to describe this show. If you like a big dose of nonsense then you will love it.

The fourth season will launch on Netflix May 30, but it’ll be the first time a season of the show will be split into two halves. I. CAN’T. WAIT!

THE SONGS

Despite the fact that the theme tune is one of those songs that will stick in your mind all day there are a lot of great songs in the episodes.

Since Titus loves to perform there is a LOT of that which I love. The performance I enjoyed the most was his parody of Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade‘ – it’s fabulous!

I really don’t think there are any down-beat songs in here as it is just such a happy show so the music reflects that!
