Dutch singer Kelsey Coockson releases her debut single “California”.
Kelsey Coockson had what others only dared to dream of: a job in the music industry where she collaborated with the greatest artists. Nobody heard the music she made herself. Until now.
With her debut single “California” she turns the switch and pursues her dreams. “California” is a sunny feel-good pop song that lifts up your serotonin levels and lets you float for a while. Her debut EP will be released in 2020.
Kelsey tells us that “California” sprung from a dark period of my life with an alcohol & drug abusive mom. Last year it got so bad she almost died. I tried to write myself ‘happier’, as an attempt to flee daily life. Even if it was only for a short period of time”.
