US singer/songwriter Gaby Galvez debuts with “Coming For You”!
Up-and-coming Latina artist Gaby Galvez, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for her moody, atmospheric soundscapes and percolating rhythms, has just released her single “Coming For You”. Released on the artist’s own label Me+Mu Music, the new single, which originally was inspired by an argument with her mom, takes a former lover to task for the emotional aftermath of betraying her trust.
Recorded in December 2018, “Coming For You” showcases Gaby’s vocal and instrumental skills, along with production by partner Mukund Komanduri. Fierce lyrics, such as “you played me but I’m not a fool” and “I couldn’t spot the fake in you,” play off of the danceable Latin-inspired rhythms and electronic embellishments.
