Jax Jones and Martin Solveig present their collaborative project Europa and the single “All Day And Night”!
Following Jax Jones’ triumphant sold out hometown show at London’s Roundhouse at the weekend, where Europa – his collaborative project with Martin Solveig – saw its live debut, the pair have premiered a dizzying, CGI-peppered official video for their electric debut single “All Day And Night”, featuring white-hot US singer Madison Beer.
Europa is two friends who also just so happen to be multi-platinum artists (with over 4 billion combined streams), pushing each other to investigate musical avenues they’d never explore on their own. Europa is club-focused pop music and pop-focused club music. Europa is friendship. Europa is a larger-than-life explosion of unexpected combinations, total freedom, unexpected twists and bridges not walls. Europa is the phrase ‘stronger together’ brought to life in vivid colours.
Born out of a mutual admiration and cemented by a hug given by Martin after Jax’s set in Ibiza, the pair’s collaboration has been a long time coming. It was only after Solveig made the Eurostar trip to Jax’s London studio that they realised that they had something special and the spirit of Europa started to take shape: “for the first-ever Europa session, Martin came in and played a song with a cheeky sax riff in it”. Jax adds “He looked at me as if to say: “This is a bit taboo, but we could try it”. And then I said: “Well if we’re doing that, how about TRANCE?”!
The announcement of Europa follows an impressive start to 2019 for London’s Jax Jones. A second BRIT Award nomination in a row came in the wake of his latest Top 10 collaboration – the groove-fuelled earworm “Play” ft. Years & Years. He just played his biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse on 6th April, before heading to America for a landmark nine date tour.
Playing numerous illustrious festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields, SW4 and Lollapalooza, Martin Solveig continues to build his reputation as a truly multifaceted star of dance music. Previously bringing his ‘My House’ event series to various venues, including his own ADE showcase and a Pacha Ibiza residency, Martin is best known for his huge hits “Intoxicated”, “Do It Right”, “Places”, “All Stars”, and as recently as last summer, “My Love”.
