FRESH: ‘Save Me’ – Zelah

British alt-pop band Zelah have released “Save Me”.

by Christopher Smith

ZELAH are an atmospheric, alt-pop trio based in London. Encapsulating a blend of dark, raw and electronic soundscapes with soulful vocals that take influence from the likes of BANKS, London Grammar and Lorde.

“Save Me” is the latest offering of ZELAH’s trademark sound with moody synths paving the way for lead singer Zelah Van-Gowler’s breathtaking vocal to take center stage. The choruses grow into something altogether more powerful and vibrant, a soaring vocal shines a gorgeous light across subtle, jittering guitars and full, warm synths.

ZELAH have been making waves across the London live music scene and recently played their first headline show at Strongroom Bar in Shoreditch. Van-Gowler’s recent collaboration with the established UK drum & bass duo Matrix & Futurebound for their single “Got You There” has received an incredible reaction across the dance and pop world already. Gaining support from Radio 1 Dance Anthems, Spotify and Apple Music.
