Teamwork teams up with Nina Nesbitt and AJ Mitchell for “Afterhours”!
English/American production duo teamwork possess a Midas touch for creating hits which merge the worlds of dance and pop. With sleek synths, punch beats and an immediately insistent pop-tinged hook, “Afterhours” pulsates with pure lust. The pair’s sensual vocal performances heighten the sweltering vibe of the lyrics: “We can skip the small talk, put your skin on mine, don’t make my heart break, just make my heart race”.
teamwork. and Nina Nesbitt first wrote the song on a cold Friday night in an underground studio in Islington, London. teamwork.then took the resulting track to Los Angeles where they invited AJ Mitchell to elevate it to another level.
Bursting with vibrant colours, the accompanying video for the track highlights the connection between the two vocalists and perfectly captures the summer atmosphere of the coming months. It was directed by Seth Michael Stern.
A regular fixture in the UK charts, the Scottish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nina Nesbitt recently dropped her critically acclaimed second album “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change“.
