FRESH: ‘You And Elvis’ – Montana Modderman

Montana Modderman releases her new EP “For The Record”.

by Christopher Smith

Country singer Montana Modderman has released her latest EP “For The Record” and it features the great new track “You And Elvis” as well as “Mad About You” (previously released) and “For The Record”.

As a little girl, Montana Modderman would listen to Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Shania Twain. Dancing around the family room to Faith Hill’s Fireflies and Mississippi Girl she would put on shows for her parents. Montana’s first solo performance was at a 4th of July Celebration in her hometown, Allendale, Michigan at the tender age of 3.

Her family moved to Florida when she turned 9 and she began writing songs at age 10. When she turned 13, listening to Taylor Swift, Montana started playing guitar and writing even more. For Montana writing was a place of release and honesty.

She grew up on Anna Maria Island, Florida and performed at community talent shows, churches, and school events. Fast forward to 2018 when Montana won an Honorable Mention award in the American Songwriter Magazine on her first submission. She played the Strawberry Festival and a few local shows. After a visit to Nashville she knew it was time… So she went to the studio and recorded Didn’t Mean To. Montana now calls Nashville home and is excited to learn, write, create and perform.

An award winning country singer songwriter, Montana brings us another track with sincere lyrics and infectious melodies. Receiving recognition from American Songwriter Magazine and American Songwriter Awards, and named one of The 10 Best Albums of 2019 by Women of Country, Montana is gaining further momentum in the U.S. and Canada. Based out of Nashville and performing since the age of 3 including at the Key Largo Original Music Festival this Summer.
