The Maltese song is called “Chameleon“ and is performed by Michela Pace.

ARTIST:

Michela Pace is a Maltese singer who won the inaugural season of Malta’s version of The X Factor in 2019. As a prize for her win, she will represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song “Chameleon”, while also winning a contract with Sony Music Italy.

“Chameleon” is written by Joacim Persson, Paula Winger, Borislav Milanov and Johan Alkenäs.

OPINION:

Quirky and kookie is how best to describe “Chameleon”! It’s certainly sweet and innocent enough for Michela to perform and she does so with flying colours. There’s plenty to ‘bump and grind’ to with this number!

PREDICTION:

Although all the ingredients are here in “Chameleon”, I don’t think it will rake in too many points and will sadly end up in the bottom section of the final board.
